SHOPPING IN TOWN!

Church service here was almost the same back home. Just that some songs are sung differently. And they don't raise and hold hands when singing the "Our Father's" song. Well.. i raised my hands=) When amanda saw me doing that, she then raised and held my hand. Tis gal ah..

After that, we took a bus into town. my sis first brought me to TAKA japanese restaurant to eat lunch. The meal was heavenly ah! i had agodoshi tofu set while she had tuna set. Agodoshi tofu's actually fried tofu dipped in some kind of sauce. Shiok sia..The good thing about this restaurant is that not only the food's great but the price is really cheap too.. our set lunches were only about $6. well, it is not cheap back at home considering that we still have to convert this amount to singapore dollar but a normal meal in australia is about $8-10. That's why.. Oh ya..they do not have waiters there too. It's self-service. Do you know how it's done? They give you this flat electronic device after you've placed your order and paid for it. Go and find a seat and then wait for the device to beep, after which u can collect your food at the counter. Cute right? But that device can get pretty annoying..especially when there are so many pple waiting for their orders. Beep beep beep everywhere!!! Then hor.. i wanted to drink my soup but realised there wasn't a spoon. Turns out that you aren't supposed to use a spoon to drink your soup. You drink it from the bowl itself. Haha..Interesting huh?

After lunch, we went to harbourtown. Found out after i got there that i actually went to that place before. During the last march holidays trip.. so boring..Well, i managed to get a jacket and a long sleeve shirt though. If not amanda will be screaming at me for always taking her clothes. No choice la gal.. When we're done, we went back to the bus stop to see how much longer till the next bus arrives. Oh Perth has this electronic timer at bus stands that tells you the amount of time left till the bus arrives. Really good for helping pple to manage their time.. We saw that there was 15 mins left so we went back into the shoppin centre because it was very cold outside. So we went into a book store and checked out the horoscope book. We were very engrossed in the book, laughing and talking to each other as we read the stuff inside. Lyk "how to get rid of a taurus"!!! my sis's a taurus by the way.. getting rid of her now will be easy.. muahahaha!

We ended up missing the bus la!! But it didn't seem like we spent alot of time in the bookstore. Haha.. time passes really quickly when you're enjoying something. When we went out again, the time shown on the electronic timer was 38 mins!! argh!! amanda i wanna kill u!!! But heyz! the timer wasn't accurate either.. the time jump veri quickly ah! one min it was 30 mins left.. the next min it was 25 mins. scary o.. cannot trust these things next time.
