so happy!!! dad is here in perth! he came over on thur night for a short while in the middle of the night, cos he had to go to broome (also part of Australia) for a job. so he took a plane from sing to perth and then had to wait for 7 hrs to take a transit flight to broome. meanwhile, he had nth to do in the airport from 12am-7am, so mum went to fetch him back and he wished sharon happy bdae (just nice, it was past 12am and it was her big day) =D haha lucky gal..

after his job was completed, he changed his flight ticket to fly back here to perth and spend some time with us. he also bought us souvenirs from broome.. we all gt earrings - pearls. quite expensive nei.. ($25 each, mine was a little expensive cos of the colour, $30) but too bad, i dun hav ear hole. maybe i shld try and pierce them again when i go back. piercing ears here cost $30! geez man..

so yea. papa is here to stay till fri =) my presentation went ok.. the tutor said all of us did quite well.. so relieved. but i actually forgot some of my lines but it wasnt that obvious i guess, from his comments. whew.. 2 reports on the way! time to work on them! ahhhh tired tired tired...

Was totally stressed today cos my group has yet to finish up our presentation slides for the upcoming presentation this friday. and we sorta have disagreements over the way it shld b done. so nothing is concrete now. hais.. makes me so nervous yet angry and frustrated at the same time. makes me wan to finish my degree so much more faster!!!! grrrrr....

Seeing that i was so stressed, mum and sis felt that i shld open up a scroll.. lol (i actually forgot all abt it). i've opened up far too many sad scrolls. but i guess, when i'm happy, i wldnt even think of opening up one. so that explains why.. the scroll i opened up was from ming wei!!! quite obvious from his handwriting.. It read:

Xiao ming saw a red apple on the tree and wanted one. So he shook the tree. but what dropped from the tree was a green apple, not a red one. WHY?

ANS: when the apple dropped from so high up, it gt so scared that it became 'LIAN QING CHUN BAI' (face turned green)

HAHAHA! that's a really gd one =) everyone laughed.. hehe thx mw! u made my day..

something's wrong with me... lately, the things that i work hard on, fail to produce the results tt i wan.. i really put my whole heart and soul into studying hard for the test but i ended up scoring just a pass. it's not that i don't noe my stuff - i noe them too perfectly but some things are beyond my control like time constraints and hence, reading the qsn wrongly. hais.. feel like all my hard work has been wasted..

maybe i'm expecting too much from myself. i wanna do SOO well this last sem and get a high overall average. but looks like this dream is never gonna come true.. am i going to get it? am i going to reach my high target?

i'm soo tired.. they say studying in perth is like a breeze - cos its conducive for studying and u gt time to relax. lotsa time to relax. but i feel i'm not breathing enough.. i'm not relaxing at all. i'm always rushing to get my stuff done every wk and hav to work 2 days a week as well. i'm staying up against my will - both physically and mentally. even as i'm writing this, i keep on blinking my eyes becos its so painful and tired. i wan so badly to finish my studies and take a LONG DESERVED REST! who wans to join me for a trip out of the country?

last fri after my evening mid-sem exam, my mum came and pick me up from uni. we were driving along the cannington way home. and almost got into an accident. it was a pretty close shave. i must say we were very lucky. my mum believe the car in front of us drove too fast when turning round the bend. it was quite a sharp turn and hence, the speed of the car led it to spin out of control and he turned 100 degrees, making a T shape in front of us. If my mum didnt break on time, we wld hav hit it seriously.. so scary.. first time i gt into this kind of situation..

aiyo, my eyes are hurting again. gotta go back to my stuff now. toodles guys! i'll try my best to tahan dun wry! cant wait to see u all =)
