Sorry for not blogging lately.. been super busy with christmas as well as waiting for the photos to be emailed to me hehe.. i've been looking so forward to christmas this yr cos' i get to spend it with my family and friends here in s'pore =)

i went out with my sec sch friends for shopping and dinner! our 1st stop was pasir panjang's city plaza.. before we start our shopping, we had a soyabean drink..

For dinner, we had fish and chips at fish and co. yummy! it's been quite a while since i went there.. we also ordered fried calamari to share among ourselves.. really good.. =) And there's sean's huge mango drink! The cup so damn big la! see the difference? sean and i couldn't even manage to drink it finish..

Dinner was filling.. we had to do some walking (a.k.a shopping) to digest out food. i bought a lot of things. shoes, skirt and shirt.. whew! gonna wear them on our kbox outing tmr.. gals!!! rem to wear the shirt ok?

On sunday, wilson brought me to eat bak kut teh at tiong bahru.. we took a cab there cos' we didn't noe our way, only to realise the taxi ride was just 5 mins from the station. -.- by the time we reached the place, it was closing time. there were no customers in the coffee shop. according to wilson, it was supposed to be crowded as their bak kut teh was quite popular. btw, its operating hours are 7.30am-2.30pm. we reached at 2.35pm. with that, we thought we had missed the chance. but the woman saw us and asked what we wanna eat. heex.. so lucky! we were their last customer.

we ordered 2 bowls of bak kut teh, salted vegetable, pork and you tiao.. wilson was right.. dipping you tiao in the bak kut teh soup was simply delicious! and their pork.. orh! you shld try it.. the meat is so smooth.. even nicer than the bak kut teh. haha!

my family went to lot 1 to buy last minute gifts for my younger cousins. this is my youngest sister with kiddy palace's baby hat! my gosh.. it can fit her! wahaha..

this is my cousin.. he's studying in australia (adelaide) but he's also now back with us in s'pore for his holiday. look at him! he looks so pervertic wearing my sister's girly tie and covering his *tooooot* hahaha..

How was christmas everyone? i had quite an eventful happy special christmas =) im so glad my bf could make it for my aunt's christmas eve party on the 24th. we had lotsa fun.. we started with church christmas songs then normal christmas carols and then we proceeded to the dining table to celebrate jesus's bdae with a cake just for him. this is what i call true christmas spirit and joy.. =) i thought my bf would feel akward but he sang along with all of us.. thank you.. =) and then there was gifts exchange and card games among cousins. i love christmas tis yr!! i hope every christmas for the yrs to come would be lyk tt..

On the 25th, my family had steamboat at night.. that means just my parents, my sisters and i. our bfs were invited but only my sis's bf could make it cos' mine had to go back army. on x'mas day lea!! so cruel.. =( the steamboat was romantic.. held in the condo's service area. it was dark except for the lamp we used to light up our food. haha.. we weren't allowed to use that area but we just kept it to ourselves. we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. all the laughter while cooking, wine and music from alvin and the chipmunks CD. hehe.. so appropriate for x'mas.

On the 26th, we celebrated my grandma's bdae at my place with catered buffet.. my place was crowded with family, relatives and extended relatives.. there was hardly room to walk about freely. you had to literally squeeze.. apart from this, there were new faces. my 2 cousins brought their gfs for the 1st time.. my sister brought her bf. everyone's growing up real fast. even me! haha.. as i had expected, my relatives asked where was my bf. and i had to tell them he's in army. oh wells.. but hey! i shouldn't ask for too much.. thank you jesus for everything! muacks! Happy birthday!

Roti prata! we went to niqqi's roti prata shop at clementi =) my old hangout when i used to work at a*star in nus. beside 2 stores ahead is the all-famous nasi lemak store. it's been a while since i last stepped into that shop..

hi zu xing, jackson and wei bin!!! gotcha! haha.. all sipping our drinks while waiting for all our orders to come in.. i had a tehcinno peng=) sweet..

this is roti john.. seriously, this is my first time trying it.. in all my 19 yrs in s'pore, i've not touched roti john before.. haha.. now i have. well.. it tastes ok but it's not my favourite.. just bread lo - according to jackson. AND FLOUR.. haha..

i ordered bananna cheese and seafood pineapple cheese prata. damn delicious!

the next day, hui kheng, wei bin, ming wei and i watched "alvin and the chipmunks". that was my 2nd time watching it but since wei bin has willingly offered to let me use one of his movie voucher, i've no need to pay for it=) the advantages of being a gal, i must say.. wahaha.. hui kheng recommended rabbit brand seafood delicacies for lunch. it's a shop that sells cheap genuine sharksfin. really worth it! ming wei had steamed rice.

i had tom yam. damn spicy la! i was practicaly crying while eating.. it was that bad. taking mouthfuls of my cold dessert halfway. i wonder how my stomach could take it! haha.. i was so lucky i didn't have to go to the washroom.

we also tried spinach beancurd. it's their specialty.. realli awesome! a pity we only ordered 2 bowls. so each of us only had 1/2 a beancurd. i want more=(

after the movie, we went shopping. i "forced" ming wei to take a photo with this guy. cute right? haha.. i know, i'm sick.. ming wei or the small guy cuter? let's vote! lol..

and of course, me and mr. shorty =) 1st time i bend down to take photo with a guy lei.. so good hor??!! hehe.. i suddenly feel so tall. ahaha!

in the evening, i went drinking with wei bin, jordain, chee hsiang and jordain's friend. i was the only gal there -.- and it was my first time to a bar! had jhonnie walker's black label (whiskey) and frutti martini (passionfruit). jordain claimed the bottle of whiskey costs $135. he offered to pay for it la.. rich sia.. i only shared with the rest the remaining cost of the drinks and finger food. paid only $20. hehe.. was hoping wei leong could make it, but he had a wedding dinner to attend. oh wells.. thanks jordain for bringing me to the bar. and wei bin for sending me home by taxi.. heex.. i'm sooo fortunate. luckily i was sober. but the next day i was so tired. of course la! i have never drunk 40% alcohol before. i'm a noob..

sunday i had a lunch gathering with my relatives to celebrate my godmother's birthday. that's my cousin and the PALM.. BE AFRAID... haha.

the lunch was dim sum at chinatown.. not bad la.. i miss my chicken feet!!!

last week had been eventful.. helped my parents with their new shipment. it was quite fun despite all the complaints we threw at them. haha! i told them about my boyfriend too..finally! i had a difficult time trying to open my mouth. the strange thing was.. they didn't object like i thought they would. i feel so much at ease now. no more lying when going out with him.. errr but i wouldn't have much chance to go out with him either, considering the fact that he only comes out during the wkends. i still can't get over the fact that he suggested taking neoprints. haha.. it was really unexpected. and it was also his first time taking it. awww... lol. for me? hehe.. guess things are gonna get even better.. yup. but all the food i've been enjoying is making me chubbier.. my aunt commented that my cheeks were flatter when i just came back. heyhey.. what are u trying to imply?? i so sad le.. but they're so much more food waiting for me! and i've only 2 more mths.. cannot cannot! eat first then think of what to do. haha.. by then, u'd be looking at ms fatty!

My parents and the christmas tree at my church..

my family went to newton to eat. i strongly recommend the fried oyster with egg! it's SUPER good!

not forgetting, the ice kachang chng teng.. lots of ingredients.. yum..

met up with my relatives some days back.. we had a big feast at jurong west! chilli stingray.. poh piah.. chilli and pepper crab together with man tou, chilli kang kong. orhhh!! so sinful man~ i miss chilli so much..

went out with my JC galfriends.. from the left is siew hui, sheryl, me and liyan. we went to eat ice cream at serene road. there were lotsa pictures pasted onto the walls. we took a picture and wanted to print out but just then, so many people came into the shop and the shop people were rather busy. awww... we wanted our picture to be up there. oh wells, another time la!

siew hui brought us to chinatown to eat frog leg porridge. this is raw fish..

the most important dish we had was of course, the frog leg dish! see got so much chilli?? hehe.. i tell you.. the frog leg was simply delicious.. i have never eaten such smooth, tender frog leg before..

looks like i'm enjoying every outing i had.. hehe.. so many nice food and many more i'm looking forward to! no other country beats singapore when it comes to food! yea =)

Saturday was like a dream come true.. went out early in the morning to catch the 11.40am movie at plaza singapura with ming wei, zu xing and wei bin. wei bin was so nice to offer to fetch me from cck bus interchange.. heex.. thanks=) we watched 'The Tattooist".. it wasn't as nice as the movie thriller. scary? not at all.. =p the only gal sitting in between 3 guys. of course not scary la! haha.. hmmm.. i tink the movie "30 days of night" will be more interesting. hope it doesn't disappoint as well. after the movie, we walked all the way to bugis where i'm supposed to meet my sec sch friends to pick up a gift for ai suan's birthday and also to go shopping! The guys were so nice to pei wo until 3pm. heex... bought takoyaki balls from bugis junction basement. the food court isn't there anymore. the place has really changed. now it's a whole floor of "xiao chi". all the food are so appealing!

Sean, chel-min and i decided on a lovely wallet for ai suan from the wallet shop. walked into and out of that shop 5 times! i tink the shop keeper see me until sian diao liao. wahaha.. we finally met up with the rest at 7pm at shaw tower crystal jade kitchen, including the birthday girl =) the dinner was satisfying. surprised her with a cake after dinner. with everyone staring at us when we sang the birthday song. so AA but hey! the bdae gal deserves all the attention! wahaha.. the best part was when she opened her present and told us she wanted to get that wallet. oh yea! we succeeded! lol.. we ended the day with a walk along orchard road, taking pictures with the x'mas night lights and deco. truely, it really feels like x'mas down here. the atmosphere is just so warm and amazing! even the snowflakes and lights hanging on the trees are flickering on and off.. how i wish i could relive those memories again!

Sean said the tree was suitable for my height.. -.- that's why we took a picture with it.
