Day 7

Why must my class start so early? i've to drag myself out of bed at 5.30am, to leave the house at 6.45am for my 8am lecture.

I must have been too tired to think properly that i got 2 of my group mate's names wrongly. i got it wrong the first time to get myself confused again the 2nd time. how blur can i get huh? Geez..

Today was a special day because i went to carousel shopping centre to hand out a few resumes to shops, 5 to be exact. I specifically looked for shops selling food and beverage. i can't be bothered to do clothes shop for fear of looking stupid standing there staring at people who walk into the shop. Sorry but i'll get bored doing that, seriously.. Now i'm holding my handphone so close to me as if it's a precious gemstone.. hoping for a call from the manager to meet up for an interview. haha.. *cross my fingers* oh please oh please.. i want a fun job with GOOD PAY muahaha..

The weather's not turning for the better. What the heck is wrong with it? it's supposed to be autumn tmr. it's scorching HOT down here.. it was 41.5 degrees 2 days back. and i heard the temperature reached a record high of 47 degrees around x'mas last year!! Thank goodness i was back home in s'pore. i would have gotten a heat stroke.. eeks!

Day 6

This is what we've been doing the past few days.

My youngest sister trying on my mum's jeans. wahaha! Don't you just envy her? =D

We made bolsters, 5 of them. Strangely, australia doesn't have them. And no, i can't slp without one. haha.. i sewed 2 until my fingers were cramp.

Plus the 2 mattresses on the floor and a study table. see?! there's hardly enough space to walk around. This will be our life for the next 2 mths.. Somebody save us!!

This is not the worst part. my aunt and cousin have to fight so damn early in the morning. my plan to slp in was ruined.. all the crying and shouting was annoying man.. i swear i could just tell them to shut up if we're not related..

Despite all the bad things, i've got good news everyone. we have successfully clinched a house.. our very own house =) we bargained for it for a price of A$530k, which means S$700k. it's not cheap i know, but the amount is rather reasonable in perth. one of the lowest sum actually.. So guys.. anyone interested in coming over for a holiday? my house's available! one rule though - no bullying of charmaine. haha! amidst all the joy of getting a house, we still have to live under our relative's roof for another 2 mths b4 we can move in.. Drats..

oh oh! i got to know this guy in my accounting managerial class.. his name is winson. the interesting thing is his dad is born in christmas island and his mum in singapore. so he's born in perth. My dad is born in s'pore, my mum in christmas island and me, s'pore=) direct opposites man! hahaha.. wao! btw, christmas island is in australia. lol.. mmm, i wonder how different life would be if our lives were interchanged. i wldn't be meeting you guys, wouldn't be able to savour heavenly s'porean food. so.. i think i'll still stick to my life right now. i love it.. except the part where i've to migrate to perth. =( oh wells, it's all part and parcel of life. there's unity and separation. we just have to live with it.. i sound kinda sad don't i? haha.. what happened to the all-so-cheerful charmaine? will she only be happy when she's back home in s'pore?

Day 4

i'm counting the days since my departure again. Today is the 4th day. haha.. 9 mths is a horribly long time away.. am i going to be able to endure that? mmm..

i started missing him once i boarded the plane.. what a bad time, considering that i've yet to leave singapore. Thinking back on all the times we spent together, i'm very grateful that i used these 3 mths wisely. From celebrating christmas, english new year, chinese new year and valentines' day with my family members, him and of cos, my dear dear friends.. Why must all these memories pour back b4 the plane touches off? it makes it so difficult to leave. Suddenly the thought of my mum and sisters waiting for me in perth is not at all comforting to the heart.

And why are the guys so afraid to receive my hug? haha.. =p Thank you so much to all those who send me off at the airport. i really appreciate your presence =)

Going back to my aunt's place was not as bad as i thought. My mum's there to protect us from all my relatives' complaints. Our bodyguard.. =) Exhaust fan spoil, our fault.. Rice cooker handle spoil our fault.. We can hardly touch the exhaust fan, how do we actually spoil it? the rice cooker handle will spoil eventually due to wear and tear, why is it only our fault? You complain we use up so much internet, but when we check, you guys were the ones who use more of the internet than us.. But did we complain? Noooo..

The only down-side to going back to that same horrible house i came out from was that my mum and 3 of us had to share 1 room. ONE ROOM! Can you believe it? 4 people in 1 room.. I feel like i'm going back to a refugee camp. Geez.. it's so difficult to move around the room. There's 1 queen size bed, 2 mattresses, 1 study table, 1 wardrobe and 1 closet. Only 1 person can utilise the study table while the other 3 have to slouch and use whatever available space we can find - the floor or bed. it's terrible.. how to do work like that?

And they had to put a stopper on the door to prevent us from closing the door. The gap is so large that i can squeeze through it. No privacy la! i don't remember the last time i was here the gap was that big. My sis and i used to put a file against the door to minimise the gap wahaha.. i can't wait to get our own house or a rented place..

My sis is taking 2 of the same units as me.. Management and Marketing. i feel so paiseh ah, she's only 1 semester away from me, meaning 1/2 year. and she's 2 yrs younger than me! Argh! Studying is also gonna be hard, cos we only bought 1 book each to share among ourselves. i wonder how are we going to study for the final exam when it falls on the same day. haa! Luckily we're not in the same class.. Whew!

As promised to sean, here are the photos of our baking session cum my surprise bdae cake =) this is ying hui cutting the chocolate chunks into bits for easier melting..

errr... when was this taken? Eee i look so unglam with the chocolate on my face.. stupid wei leong and wei bin.. all the wei's. except ming wei of course. hey wait! ming wei also spilled chocolate on my shirt sleeve! argh!!

i feel lyk strangling pple now.. i had to lug my sister's hard guitar case to the yamaha music school in plaza singapura to get the lock fixed so that i can bring it over to australia without it getting stolen. i had to take public transport cos' my dad couldn't give me a lift =( And u noe wad?! the stupid music guy was unable to do anything! he asked me to go down to the locksmith. But even the locksmith said he can't help!!!!! WHAT THE HELLLLLLLLLLLLL..... i carried a 4kg guitar case all the way to town for nothing!!! i even had to carry it back.. little sis, u owe me BIG BIG TIME..

Happy 2008 everyone! i just realised my last blog entry was in dec '07. wahahah! so sry.. started working in my dad's office since 2 jan, so i haven't had much time to blog ever since.. i noe alot of pple have been shooting me down on my tagboard. haha.. well, pictures paint a thousand words. so i'll let the pix speak for itself and not write so much, if nt tis entry wld b super long.. heex =p..

my family and my mum's brother's family went to Gourmet Carousel to have a buffet.. it's just opposite far east plaza.. the spread there is huge..!! there's even my favourite chocolate fondue!!! the chocolate is streaming down the fountain one ok.. so cool ah! not forgetting ice cream.. too bad there wasn't peppermint. mmm..

tis is sharon, with her mouth smeared with chocolate.. who wanna kiss her? haha.. her lips damn kissable o! ;) esp. when it's with chocolate..

jordain brought us to cosafe maid bar at chjimes.. the drinks there are quite expensive but for the guys, it's worth it cos gt chio bu in maid costume. haha! see the pic.. ying hui and i were exceptionally served by a male maid. >.< i'm just kidding, that's the boss.. lol!

The guys... well, you wld expect them to take a picture with the gals rite. Wala..!

this is my littlest cousin.. so adorable right?! HEEX..

My JC 1st 3 mths gang went to maxwell food centre to munch. we had claypot rice.. see the UNCLE stirring.. =p

my sec sch friends and i just had dinner tgt last sat at miss clarity's cafe at bugis.. i must say i was pretty surprised. so was i surprised the night before when my JC friends came over to my place to bake a chocolate and orange cake at night. i didn't realise anything was fishy when they stayed overnight. we were playing board games after baking the cake when suddenly my bf came out with a cake in his hand and candles lit. awww.. he looked so slpy then. so cute.. haha.. thank u so much guys!! i LOVE the cake, esp. when it's baked by ALL of us..

ok.. tis is me, using my teeth to take out the candles. so UNGLAM la.. i was forced to do the same thing the night b4.. hey hey! but this time, i had 3 candles instead of 2 big candles. tis time i had 1 big candle and 2 small candles to blow out. wad does tt mean? i'm 12 yrs old?? WOOO! thank u ah! haha.. i noe i look so young.. muahaha..

Pew pew pew! the candles tasted horrible.. of all things, i had to bite off the wax.. so stupid. awww ai suan.. dun feel sad for me hehe.. u'll hav ur time when i'm back end of tis yr! wahaha..
