its almost the end of aug.. how time flies. had choon kiat come over yest for a simple delicious home cooked meal as well as celebrate his bdae.. went to pick him up at his new canningvale place. didnt noe we actually live quite near each other though i'm in thornlie.. its only 5 mins away la.. and the funny thing is, my family is moving to canningvale soon while in march, he's moving to thornlie with his housemate after his rental lease expires. LOL..

met his dog mollie, a kelpie (sheep dog).. according to him, she's only 9 mths old and my, is she huge! but super energetic! she jumps onto pple the minute they step into the house.. i gt licked on my lips when i entered.. u noe, sometimes its good to be tall.. HAHA! it likes to bite ur fingers too, but in a playful way.. found out from ck tt she's rather noti. likes to bite the curtains and pee on the carpet.. it used to jump over the fence to the neighbour's yard too! eeks! lol..

he's fostering the dog now.. according to him, if the stray dog is not fostered within 3 days, the dog pound will put it to slp. so poor thing =( just 3 days lea! and the fostering will continue till someone decides to adopt it..

we had kong ba bao.. again.. haha! last bdae mum also made him kong ba bao.. had steamed chicken, liu wei tang, and cabbage with black fungus, tang hoon and wadver other ingredients inside =p

after lunch, we watched karate kid.. a short while later, took out the cake.. and then continued watching the karate kid. after which, dropped ck back home.. amanda and sharon decided to come along to see mollie.. sharon was so scared of mollie tt she hid behind me -.-" she was expecting a smaller dog.. haha..

Finding jobs are such a chore.. i've been thru all the job and company sites and only managed to submit my application to 2 of them - one to KPMG, another to a recruitment agency on behalf of a govt office (Western Australian Treasury Corporation). i'm beginning to regret applying to WATC cos the interview process will be grilling.. i have to appear in front of a panel of interviewers - possibly 4 pple against 1! no wonder they say govt jobs are so much harder to get in.. now i get it.. =(

hais.. alot of jobs openings are closed and the nxt opening is in Feb 2011 for job positions in Feb 2012!!! this is ridiculous! why do i have to wait 1.5 yrs just to get a job? wad am i going to do in the meantime? this is so stupid.. grrrrr... when i've started to possibly embrace a life, a future in australia wif my family, i suddenly feel like falling back to spore to find a job, where opportunities are so abundant. not like "dry" boring perth...

my pimples are back to attack me! argh! dunno wad i can do to prevent them.. seriously i've tried so many ways. think its all the job stress, cold weather stress, emotional stress..

going back to perth this time was so lonely.. =( only dad and grandma sent me off at the airport. anw, its still cold here in perth. winter doesnt end till end aug. even then, the cold weather will still drag on till nov. suddenly i miss spore's weather =(

my trip back to spore was rather fulfilling. i was glad the heart-breaking moments didnt consume me. i was still able to do the things i wan tho' not those wif him. best of all, i tried new things! i loved the jazz bar, all the food i've eaten, my new short hairstyle, kayaking, JC class chalet, reverse bungy and mac bfast wif sean =)

however, there are always regrets. regretted not being able to go drinkin wif jordain, do elderly voluntering wif zu xing, go for an overseas trip wif friends, swenson's ice cream buffet, fishing/prawning and cycling..

i finally unpacked all my stuff. besides tt, i had to clear away some of his stuff. im still upset. i tear when i read thru the cards he gave me for the last time b4 chuckin it away in a plastic bag to be stored in the cupboard. mum actually cleared away the soft toys he gave me and the artificial valentines' day flowers b4 i came back to perth. she even asked if i wanted to throw away the piggy which he made for me wif green beans inside, which looked extremely flat and slightly dirty by now. but i refused.. i tink i'm still holding on to a false hope. i haven gotten over him.

All these words abt always waiting for u, love is the most wonderful thing besides u, it's not easy to come this far so let's not end this r/s and treat me better are all empty promises. i've been hopelessly duped by a guy.. hais.. thank u for the scrapbk where u wrote the sunshine poem, the card that plays a song once i open it, the box of fragrant flowers wif ur handmade paper rose and burnt paper note, the beauty and the beast musical box from japan, the rabbit from build-a-bear workshop and the bracelet which u had inscribed wif my name and urs.

i hav to close this chapter in my life and move on. i've to open another but i dun tink its anytime soon. i dun wan a rebound guy nor make another guy wait for me. its nt worth the hurt anymore... sighhhhhsss...

Looks like i've to backtrack. heez.. so sry.. too busy playing to update =p mmm wad did i do last wk?

tue was supposed to go for swenson's buffet but wilson only found out tt we were misled. ok he misled us.. the 1-for-1 ice cream buffet voucher was only valid till 30 sept 2009!!! to tink tt i was dreaming of becoming ice cream princess tt day! so we just ended up having normal western food at ion that day.. thur was supposed to go to johor bahru but cancelled it cos aisuan and wilson were not feeling well =(

sat went down to my class' JC chalet. sheryl drove us there =) how lucky for us.. hehe. it was at changi's fairy pt bungalow. quite ulu that place. was kinda lookin fwd to cycling that aft.. but i didnt noe tt place is so far away from east coast park wif little amenities. i gtta admit tho, the place was really big. wad a huge kitchen! wif 3 bedrooms and 3 big toilets! we played card games the entire aft (i learnt how to play german bridge and hearts!) then had bbq and steamboat tgt.. half of us were inside steamboating, the rest outside bbq-ing chicken and mutton. i was quite distracted when i saw wl after 1.5 mths. we were careful nt to bump into each other. he went outside to bbq while i was inside steamboating. so weird. i played monopoly card game wif my classmates while he watched. then when i went to bed, he came out. its like we were trying to avoid each other at all costs. i was even contemplating if i shld head home and abort my plan to stay over for the night. but i had to face the music sooner or later. i must accept tt he he was my JC classmate and nth can change tt.

so i slept over. had steamboat supper at 2am wif maggi noodle. and then went to slp. but cldnt. i was easily disturbed by the noise outside and the fact tt it was cold, despite the blanket. later on when the 3 gals joined me and yh on the queen size bed, it was alot worse. can u imagine 5 gals slpin horizontally on a queen size bed? it was SUPER squeezy! u'd wake up the other 2 by ur side when u move -.-" maybe i shld hav gone home to slp. but anw, i enjoyed myself and didnt regret stayin over. missed catchin up wif my friends.. thank u wen hao for organising this event and getting us to go for a short walk to changi village and back after dinner!

the nxt day i had to leave the chalet early to go for church as it was an obligatory day: Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. i didnt slp a wink the night b4. and was battling my heavy eyelids during the church service. after tt, my family and i went for lunch at lot 1 then proceeded back to my place for a gathering. i played mahjong for the last time b4 going back. was really lucky and won $55! =) wahahah.. my luck this time round very gd.. dunno why. won a total of $125 from the 4 games i played over 4 wkends. won 3 lost 1..

the flwg mon met up wif my JC gang to celebrate mw's bdae. first we tried reverse bungy at clarke quay! cant believe i actually took it. was really expensive.. i was soooo scared tt zu xing offered his hand for me to squeeze during the ride. lol.. on the way up and down, i was screamin so loud and laughing at the same. so weird.. pple must tink i'm crazy.. HAHA! it was a gd experience.. after tt, had dinner and went to ben and jerry's. wanted to try the vermonster but then realised it costs $88 wif 20 different scoops of flavours! too expensive and too full to even consider it. also passed mw the headphones we bought for him! =D

on tue, met up wif my sec sch mates one last time. had buffet at causeway pt's seoul garden! ate so much we cld barely move. eunice and i even tried all the 6 different flavours of ice cream!

the day b4 i left, i went to cut my hair again. also did soft straightening. both sponsored by my dear aunty.. so nice la.. this was wad she sent me:

"Don't worry abt the amt. Kuku will pay for u as a gift for yr graduation n Kuku wants u to look nice n pretty."

close to midnight, i met up wif my internship colleague who bought me a souvenir from china. a really sweet looking umbrella..

wilson gave me these and put them in my black heels as decoration -.-" who wld put in there?! so stinko!

this week has been really eventful for me. monday went swimming, tue celebrated eunice's bdae, thur i went to the gym.

Friday was supposed to go cycling. zx and i went to west coast only to discover tt there was no bicycle kiosk there, only pedal go-karts available -.-" and to tink tt we combed the entire park in vain.. if we had done our research earlier, zx wldnt hav lost his wallet in the taxi on the way to west coast. after walkin instead of cycling in west coast, we took a trip down to ang mo kio to retrieve his lost wallet. luckily he made the call early and the taxi driver was able to find his wallet wif everything in tact. whew~ gave me and him a shock.

we met up the rest for dinner at Modestos in Elizabeth Hotel which was situated in quite an ulu place in orchard. hav to walk in one.. but it was a quiet place. nice for chit chat and the atmosphere was very serene and posh. like eating in a hotel restaurant. the svc was really gd too.. the staff even walk past to ask if the food was to our liking.. ming wei had a 1-for-1 voucher. so we ordered 3 pizzas and 2 pastas. didnt noe we can eat so much =X that night, i had the honour of being the only gal and escorted by 4 guys HEHE..

Our last pizza for the day - Vegetarian! ordered it cos jackson was still hungry. i really pei fu tt guy lea. his last meal was the previous day's lunch. how can he go so long w/o food?!

sat i went for kayaking wif my uni friend and her JC friends at lower seletar reservoir park for $15 per 2 hours. it was a little awkward but it was fine. i wanted to try sth new. tot i wld capsize.. and u noe la, i fear deep water cos u dunno wad is underneath sth which u can nv touch. but the boat was pretty stable and heavy. we had to carry it ourselves, from the shed to the water. 2 pple hav to carry one boat. there was the single as well as the double boats. we hired 3 singles and 1 double. i took the single. but had the chance to go on the double too. it was quite dangerous really. in the water, we just pushed the boats tgt and then transferred from boat to boat. but we had our life jackets on la. so it was ok.. strangely enuff, the double boat was more shaky cos there were 2 weights to support. nevertheless we enjoyed ourselves. our arms were so sore from pedaling that we got up shore in a little less than 1.5 hrs. it was alr 2.30pm then and we were starving. so we carried the boats back and cleaned ourselves. after tt went to amk hub to have new york new york. i had fish and chips and we shared nachos.

got home abt 5pm then had to bathe to get ready to go to my aunt's place to celebrate my cousin's bdae. tot we wld hav chinese food but was quite shocked to find tt they ordered kfc and pizza.. oh no.. not more fried food!

sunday, went church and after lunch at lot 1, my relatives and i bought tickets to watch The Last Airbender. 8 of us sat in a row. the movie wasnt so fantastic. i agree tt everything went too fast, like the producer just briefly touched the surface of the whole story. but i heard this show is from the comics so it is difficult to squeeze a whole series into 1 short movie. so.. i'll give a little credit to him la. after the movie, we went home to play mahjong. this time i lost. but didnt lose everything, unlike my grandma and auntie. my dad was the biggest winner! hoo hoo!
