Day 219

The past 2 wks had been HELL.. had 2 major mid sem tests worth 30% and 35% and 1 assignment. realli realli super duper exhausted. not to mention, my body must have been so stressed up that i haven't had my monthly thing for 2 mths. also very sick and tired of the weather. it's 1 mth into spring and it still feels like winter. there's no hint of warmness present in spring. hais...

anyway i had my portfolio management test and 1 of the questions was worth 25 marks. it's not even parts lea. it's one whole block question! damn it.. had my finance (corporate) test today, i was physically and mentally very tired. so i tot ok, i'll buy myself mocha to perk myself up. but yea.. i've learnt my lesson. it made me very tense instead and i couldnt focus. the first 15 mins of the test i had mental block. i didnt write anything of substance on my paper. i swear i was trying very hard to concentrate. i was rushing throughout the entire paper. there was so much to do in so little time. there were 4 qsns. 1 of the qsns was worth 35 marks and the other 25 marks and they're both BLOCK qsns. wad issit wif lecturers and BLOCK qsns?! there's so much to do la..!!!!!!

i kept on calculating my stuff wrongly and realised i was mouthing wad to do cos i was trying to keep myself from falling back into the land of unconcentrateness. and each time i calculate wrongly, i kept on saying 'fuck'. realli damn pissed la. lost so much time there. then 10 mins before the end of the paper, the lecturer suddenly shouted into the microphone saying 10 mins left. scare me la! i tot pens down. when time was up, the stupid electronic timer just sounded the alarm. it sounded like ambulance alarm. so freaking LOUD! i practically jumped up from the seat. i tink everybody did too.. i've a feeling i screwed up - my answers didnt seem right, it looked weird. hais hAiS HAIS... and yea, my period had to choose to come just b4 my finance paper started. wth la.. made me even more tired.

i must be so tense these 2 wks over all the workload tt i keep on having nightmares. one of it was the buses all came late, there was a jam and i was realli realli late. oni made it to sch 1 hr after the exam started. then yesterday i had another nightmare - dreamt i couldnt finish the paper. had 4 qsns but i oni managed to do 2 =( and i was so flustered. just like i was today. i actually thought i cldnt finish it for real. but i tink i wrote alot of rubbish. all of which i dun even noe if it's the correct ans. nv been so unsure of my test paper b4.. why all finance units so difficult one?!

my draft exam timetable is out alr.. and why am i not surprised? 4 exams on 4 consecutive days. 2 of them in the evening at 6.45pm. one of the papers is 3 hrs long. boohoohoo!!!! i wish i can just pretend i finished my whole uni course and i dun need to study anymore. so tired alr..

time passes so fast - dad is going back tmr morning.. my parents have been busy all week going to display homes, speaking with all the builders. and they still haven decided which builder to choose.. mmm...

my couz is sick.. very sick. its been confirmed that he has dengue fever. so he's now lying in the hospital in critical condition. his platelets have gone down from a 100(safe level) to 39 to 19 yesterday!!! and he had to have 4 packs of blood transfusion. becos of dengue, his blood is not able to coagulate, so my auntie said his mouth nose all gt blood coming out. so gross..... so poor thing =( i've been praying very hard for him the past few days, even when i say my meal prayers.. hope the good Lord will answer all our prayers and make him better... haiz.. it was abt 1 wk ago that he feel ill. he had high fever which nv goes away and vomits out everything he drinks or eats. he must look really terrible, dehydrated and everything.. i wish it'll all go away.... =(

papa came over safe and sound =) and we're all so happy! realli miss him so much.. the past 2 days my parents have been busy meeting up with all the builders, trying to make up their decision as to which builder to choose. and papa is scared of the cold! haha worse than i am.. he has to switch on the heat blower while bathing.. lol.. so cute. anyway, he came at the right time! he touched down in the early sun morn and when we all got up in the morning, we surprised him with a father's day cake!!

First things first, HAPPY BIRTHDAY YING HUI!!! oh gosh, cant believe we're all 21 le.. feeling "old" alr? hehe.. how did ur day go? hope it was smashing!!

ok, about a week ago, papa said he may be coming down to see us and stay for abt 2 wks. we were so happy then but were cautious to not be too hopeful. becos he cancelled his trip 3 times throughout the 2.5 yrs that we've been here. and he nv did come over because of work =( it's always work, all his client's fault~! one min sae "yar yar, u can go for holiday. the goods haven come yet so u can go relax." nxt min when papa wants to come over alr, then he saes "sry u cant go. the shipment has arrived." so irritating lea! anyway, yea he cancelled his trip once more - 4th time. mama was very upset. he crushed her heart so many times. that night, i dreamt that he flew over in a flash when he decided that he'll b coming down. BUT it had to be JUST a dream.. aiz.......

i've gt GREAT NEWS! my parents have FINALLY bought a piece of land! after 2 years of searching for a place to call our home!! fengshui fengshui fengshui. all becos of it, it's so difficult to find a place cos this cannot, that cannot. garage have to be on the left hand side, kitchen sink cannot be opposite stove, house cannot be near schools, house must be in a particular direction bla bla bla.. there are so many more "rules" but i can't possibly list them all out. cos there are way too many! if u knew how many there were, u wld understand why it took us sooooo freaking long to find a suitable house. this land that my parents just bought appears to be of the same direction as my spore warren house (which means its very very gd) - this is the first time my mum took the direction and its perfect. anyway, she just signed the land ownership papers today so the land is officially ours now. and to take advantage of the first house ownership govt grant ($14,000), we have to sign a contract with a builder company by the 3rd wk of sept in order to receive the grant. that's why we're really rushing to get a house. and that MEANS PAPA IS COMING DOWN!!! his flight is scheduled on saturday 12am.. oh yeh! although it's oni for 1 wk, but it's better than none at all =D

so damn happy these 2 days. yesterday received a letter of commendation from the sch for last semester's results. ahhhhh!!!! =) =) =) i'm over the moon now. someone pls pull me back to earth haha.. i gtta finish up my assignment. went to see the tutor and it looks like i'm on the wrong track. my report is 80-90% wrong cos i looked at it from a different perspective and identified some pts. wrongly. haiz.. i took so long to write it somemore. gotta redo it.. lucky i went to see her if not i wld just fail for this paper. aiyaaaa, charmaine jiayou!
