Day 5

Went to a chinese shop today. thank goodness they have such shops in australia! i can still get some of the goodies i like in s'pore here.. like s'pore tidbits, noodles. Oh! and chilli!!! can't live w/o it..bought a bottle but nea... the spicyness can't be compared to back home. maybe i should try the indonesian sambal chilli the next time round. ;P perhaps it'd be spicier?? hehe..

my aunt is damn calculative ah..or paranoid for that matter. we have to switch off the switch for the main internet supplier, the router and everything else, after we're done using the internet. like halo??? i don't remember doing that back at home.. is there a need to?? internet bills have to be split into 3 portions - her family's, amanda's and my usage. we're relatives!!! Do you have to be that calculative? argh..anyways, we're not that close either. Maybe because we have been staying apart ever since we were born, that is until now. heater also cannot use for very long because she says it uses up alot of electricity and it's costly. i'm freezing like nobody's business and i can't use the heater? u've got to be kidding me.. And c'mon, like who records down on a piece of paper the number of calls you make and the duration of the call in this century? never in my whole entire life have i heard of anyone doing this. Have you? That's ridiculous ah! Even my mum agrees. She told my aunt specifically not to monitor her daughters' calls and gave her $15 out of the usual $25 she pays for phone bills to seal her lips. I salute you mama!!

Oh.. how i miss my mum. i'd gladly do anything to be back home receivin her nagging than the ones i get here. The atmosphere in this household is just so stifening.. i can't wait to go home. everyday they'd be at least 1 complaint. i really wonder how they can come up with a new complaint everyday. no wonder my sister can't stand them at all since she first joined them in april. i'm so lucky i have her when i come over. and she's glad too that i'm FINALLY here..so that we can talk behind their backs everytime we turn in for bed. Evil right? Muahaha.. ok.. i shall try to be nice.
