Help me! I don't wanna get out of bed! It was unusually cold this morning. The blanket's SOOOO warm..so tempting to just go back to sleep. I had to place the heater in front of me to change out of my home clothes into outing ones. Can you imagine?

The weather was so cold outside that the bus had mist on it's interior panes. This gal.. ok not gal.. she's about 20 plus yrs old i think. Guess what was she doing? Using her finger to draw a face on the panes! Even i don't do that.. Wahaha! or maybe i do.. when nobody's looking, that is..She drew 2 eyes, sharp teeth, then the outlines of a skull, a dot as a nose, followed by a few strands of hair and jagged eyebrows. Feeling bored again, she added one more dot to make it 2 nostrils. Then, WRINKLES under the eyes! aiyoh.. i see her draw i can't stop laughing to myself. So hilarious!

Made a couple more friends today during the business orientation seminar. Not bad huh? Firstly, there's daisy. She's from Taiwan. She has studied here for 3 yrs now. Her english's not bad too. Only she and her siblings are here. Her parents are not intending to come here cos' they don't speak english? Only mandarin. Haha..Then there was Mei Yun from Malaysia. Hey, dun *play play* hor.. she studied computer science last semester. Eeeks! I suck in IT! She's switching course to commerce this semester. Mmm but she's only doing 3 of my units. And there's Brenda and Tien. Don't know anything about them except their names. LOL..

I didn't think i would make anymore friends after the seminar but i did! While making my way to the 2nd hand bookshop to get my stuff, i met Jenny. She's from Shanghai. Studying 2 of my units.. Heyz! why didn't i meet anyone from Australia or America? Or even S'pore for that matter! Haha.. S'pore education too good le.. Who would wanna come here? Oh... i just realised something as well. They're all gals.. No guys! except jason.. haha.. that one not counted cos' i knew him already. Jenny's 22 yrs old and she speaks chinese to ME! That means i've to converse with her in CHINESE! Aiyoh.. i don't know why i always have a fear of speaking chinese whenever i'm talking to someone who is good in it. Maybe cos' i feel inferior? And she just added to my fear when she said i MUST show her friend and her around S'pore when she comes over for holidays on the 25 Nov. Guess what? i'm coming back on the 24th. With no rest after that cos' she'll be staying for 4 days! How am i going to bring her around on a tour when my chinese is below standard? Anyone interested in coming along with me? Heex.. You get my hint.. ;p By the way, she wants to see Sentosa and Little India.. Little India? Huh??? That didn't cross my mind at all. Only night safari=)

Lunch was just 2 slices of bread with a thin slice of ham as well as lettuce and sliced tomatoes. Sandwich will be my lunch from wed-fri. Cool right? Haha.. if ya wanna slim down. Not that i wanna slim down but i have no choice. Nobody's cooking lunch and meals outside are just UNREASONABLY on the high side.. Anyways, my sister has sandwich for lunch every single day cos' she only finishes school at 5. well.. i'm much better off than her at least. Mon and Tue i can have rice for lunch. Food from dinner the day before i mean.. Plus my timetable rocks! i don't have school on monday. i only need to attend a 1 hr lecture on tue. Wed's 9-12. oh thur's 9-5! Fri-2hrs of tutorials. That makes it only 12 hrs a wk.. Shiok man! I like Jordain's timetable the most though. He only has to go to school from tue-thur.

Gosh.. I just spent a bomb on my school books. It cost me A$500! These books are only for this semester lea. Sch fees already cost me A$3708 for this semester. That means my parents have to fork out approximately A$9000 per year! Haiz.. my dad has lotsa white hair already and he still has to work harder..

i couldn't get a single 2nd hand book. Even if i did, the quality was very bad. There were scribblings and highlightings all over the book. For this quality, i wouldn't mind if the book was going at half-price. But NOOOOO... all the books there are sold at 33% lower than the original price. Siao ar! Like that, i'd rather get new ones. Haha.. Anyway, i also didn't have any luck in finding books that i need in the 2nd hand store. Guess they were all snatched up already..Oh well..
