Went to school yesterday. Met up with my group members to have a session with my BIS teacher. We wanted to ask him if we were on the right track for our project. Cos' if we got the front part wrong, so will the rest of our project. Luckily we went to him for help ah.. We did it wrongly or should i say our case study was confusing. My teacher was also confused. Wahaha.. but in the end, we managed to work it out. And he even taught us how to use Microsoft Access because we need to use it for our project. Actually the other 2 guys in my group had some experience with Access before. They've learnt it in Year 11/12. and i'm the only one who didn't. Oh wells.. the session was a good one. Access seems pretty easy to me. Heex!
My teacher was horrible la! He said, " When's your group presentation?" "Err.. week 11." "Then what are you guys doing?!" We fell silent. We thought he was lecturing us. =X Then suddenly he bursted out laughing. "i was just joking guys. Starting early is good." Aiyoh.. gave me a heart attack la.
Today's grocery shopping day! I FINALLY found TIM TAM=) it's biscuits. Really nice biscuits. with many different flavours.. finally understood how it looks like. Couldn't picture it when jordain told me about it. He kept on saying "it's so nice. So damn nice!" But i couldn't find it the last.. Then i found a whole column of tim tams on the shelves today. Diaoz.. Bought sticky vanilla toffee chocolate tim tams.. Sweet=D Bought potato chips too. So long didn't have tidbits le.. Am feasting on them now. Ahaha..
AT LAST.. no more sandwiches for lunch.. at least not those made at home and brought to school. The bread she buys are stale. So yucky la. She says it's the generic brand. Eee.. i'd rather eat other bread than the ones she buys. Told her we didn't want sandwiches anymore. Were sick of it. So she didn't need to buy bread for our lunch from now on. We'd buy our own lunch outside. Will not be able to save money for lunch but i think i had enough sandwiches already. Breakfast's improving too! We're no longer just sticking to crumpets, muffins and sultana bread anymore. Cos' i guess she realises we're sick of eating the same stuff everyday when we told her we're tired of eating sandwiches. Oh yeh! i'm glad she caught the hint.. She told us to have a look around what breakfast we want when we go grocery-shopping. Donuts, danish petite, croissants.. Hehe.. life's getting better. No doubt about that. Oooo.. the donuts here are especially NICE.. haven't tried it yet but it's so tempting to buy them. They're covered in colourful icings. Thick icing too! So different from singapore. They're so generous with the icing here..
Chester suddenly striked up a conversation with me. Didn't chat with him for sooooo long already. He used to be my secondary school friend until he left for canada in secondary 3? His plight is exactly the same as mine. His family was migrating to canada while mine's migrating to australia. He's still in canada and he met his girlfriend in the university there. She's singaporean. Haha! Not bad-looking la. Saw how she looked like in his display pic. He was thinking of what to give her for their 11th month together. Wahaha.. Their school system is so cool. Study for a period of time then get some work experience and then study again. So now he's working. The time difference between canada and australia is 12 hrs. Woo.. So when it was 12pm in the afternoon in canada, it's 12am midnight in aussie.
Had a taste of malaysian and australian mooncakes. No offence, but the malaysian mooncake sux.. It doesn't even taste like mooncake la! the australian mooncake was nicer. Surprisingly.. Mmm..
