I went to the perth royal show today=) It was hell fun!! i tink it's my 1st time going to a carnival? hmm.. nt sure already. Wahaha.. but i didn't regret going. Although i spent A$90 plus.. Yikes! Plus the perth royal show is only a once a year event! Die die must go orh.. The carnival can really make money man.. the entrance fee alone is A$22. You have to pay extra for the games and rides. And it's not cheap! A$8/9 for a ride, A$5 for a game. There're also showbags. It's very popular here. you get to choose what showbags you want to buy. It can be chocolate, perfume, cosmetics, toys, macademia showbags. But i find it such a waste of money. I'd rather spend it on games and rides=) I wanna win BIG toys! hehe.. they look so NICE..

That's the haunted mansion. I didn't get to go cos' i've to use my money wisely. Can only spend on rides that are worth taking.

i took the front ride as well as the one behind. Cool right? wahaha.. i'm so brave.. but it's scary!!!

This was the scariest ride i took. The ride was super fast. i don't think i've ever taken any ride like this before. And there wasn't a proper safety belt. There was just a bar and then a chain to hook the bar in front of each person. During the ride, i hold the bar until my hands all suan la! if you never hold on to your dear's life, can swing hard into the person next to you. and i mean damn hard. Have to tug in your head aso. i almost sprained my neck. Caren sprained hers. Cos when you don't tug in your head, ur neck will jerk and it'll be difficult to put it back into position becos of the momentum. When i saw Caren's head jerking beside me, i quickly tug in my head ah! VERY scary.. and for a moment there, i thought the machine was spoilt cos it was really really fast. i thought i was going to die..

i went on that roller coaster. See the loop?? haha.. but it isn't huge enough. >.<

i've always wanted to take this ride since young. Alwaes see the TV portraying overseas carnivals having this ride. And now i finally get the chance to do so! Whee.. the ride isn't scary but it was SUPER COOLING! What a ride man..

Sorry to disappoint.. but i still dun dare to take the ride which goes all the way up and then drops from a high level. I tink i'll have heart attack if i do. Caren said it was fun. You'll just feel your heart popping out. No thanks! i want it close to me. Thank you very much..

By the way, i went to the perth royal show with Caren. Jenny had a last-minute urgency. Mmm.. wish she was there with us. We had so much fun! We then proceeded to the animal farm. Haha.. you must be thinking. Animal farm in a carnival?? Oh this is not the weird part. The carnival's like a pasar malam also. Sell ALL sorts of things. Even the unimaginable.. sell cars, holiday tours, massage services, cutlery, hammocks, earrings bla bla..

This is the brahman bull. Big right? It had to be guarded by a 'security guard' lest people incurred its wrath. Wahaha.. just kidding. =p


These are kids. They're so adorable. i was taking numerous photos of them. i especially like the part where they smell and lick each other on the face.. Eee so cute! There were also hatched baby emu and eggs in an incubator. When they're freshly hatched, they're like drunkards, can't seem to walk properly. Knock here knock there. haha!

We also stepped into the dog show. But when we went in, the dog owners were packing up their stuff already. And when we walked out of the show, the guy was like shoo-ing people who wanted to come in cos they were closing. Ooo yea.. we came in at the right time=) So sorry leong.. no cats here. haha =p

This candy is just SSOOOO thick. i think it's about 2-3 cm thick ah! Wonder how people manage to chew it.. my jaw will just ache lor!

What this stall sells is quite obvious from its name. Twisted chips! i was so tempted to buy and try it. There was a LONG queue. Ahh forget it! i shall just feast my eyes on people's food and drool in my fantasy world. LOL.. There was also a band playing. In a carnival..

Tractors were also on sale. Can you imagine??!!

This part of the carnival is like a museum, showing you all the oldern mechanics. Saws and tools used plus horse carriages. There was also metal casting. How cool is that?! The person doing the metal casting had charcoal all over his face and body. LOL..

Later on, Caren met some of her Malaysian friends. and we tagged along with them for the rest of the night. I tell you, they were DEEPLY and MADLY attached to this machine. Guess what was the final result? Of cos' lose la! You lose some and gain some but in the end, you'll still lose all. Even your earnings.. That's why they say never bet.. How true..

If you're thinking i won both of these toys, you're wrong.. Yea one of them is mine, the other's Caren's. Guess which one? ;) i got the dinosaur. Cute right? My sis and cousin says it's UGLY.. where got?? i think it's nicer than the pony ah! By the way, i didn't win the dinosaur either. =p Caren got her friend to play basketball and win those toys for us. Muahaha.. it's really difficult to win a Big toy.. i see so many people bringing home big toys, like so easy to win lyk that. Mmm.. or am i just lousy? ahaha.. i had banana and nuts pancake for dinner. Yummy. Took a picture of it but it turned out too dark. Sorry..

Guess what this is? the guy's making names with gold-plated metal by folding them. So all those things you see up there are different names.

We settled at the big field at about 8 to catch the night show. There were some motorcycle stunts, car stunts and horse parade.

Not forgetting, there was a fireworks display at 9. Really beautiful. It's a 10 mins video. But i guarantee you it's worth watching. Although this is my very first close encounter with fireworks, S'pore's fireworks can never beat australia's. (i've seen spore's fireworks on tv during ndp ahaha)

This was one of the coupons i bought for A$2.50. If your number matches the winning numbers, you get a huge toy!! Too bad i've no luck at all.. Caren's friends were worse o.. they bought like $40 worth of tickets each but you know what, simply put it, they're just damn suay.. Sometimes you can really marvel how people can just spend their money away like that. i can NEVER do that.

The 2 toys i brought home. If you're thinking i didn't bring anything home that i won ALL by myself, think again. You see the little heart up there - i won that=)

Overall, i enjoyed myself like crazy.. i initially wanted to skip it cos' it was unreasonably expensive. But thinking back, i'm really glad i went for it. It was fun and all, but i guess the most important thing was that it opened my eyes to more things than what i presumed a carnival would have at first. If you guys are planning to come over for the perth royal show next year, i don't mind being your guide?? heex..
