Yoyo! i'm back=) sorry i haven't had much time to update. been studying ALOT.. but dunno whether effective anot.. well, my results will give me the answer. Aha.. as of today, i've finished 3 papers and just have 1 last one on monday! Woohoo!

ok.. let's recall what happened the past few wks.. mmm..

i learnt that daylight savings is DETRIMENTAL TO HEALTH. haha.. not really. i just lyk to exaggerate cos' i hate it. ABSOLUTELY hate it.. the tv program said that it affects children the most. and it gives people flight jetlag. you know how jetlag will go away soon enough? well, they said daylight savings give people PERMANENT jetlag. Geez.. no wonder i couldn't sleep well and feel so tired all the time.

i also had a toothache, gum and tonsil inflammation. really bad one.. my whole mouth was sore. it was hard to chew, hard to even open my mouth. just simply terrible. i had to go to a doctor. see the word doctor? haha.. the dentist appointment here is extremely expensive. one normal teeth cleaning session costs you about A$120. Siao ar! plus i can't claim back money from the government for a dentist appointment. The doctor costs A$50. and mind you, this is just consultation fees. you have to buy your medicine from the chemist next door. weird right? the doctor prints out your prescription letter to be given to the chemist so that you can purchase your medicine from them. no prescription letter - no medicine. hah.. but u can buy mild medicine la.. like aspririn.. the healthcare system sucks here. if the doctor's appointment schedule is full, they don't accommodate any more people, even if you walk into the clinic. sucks right?

The doctor i visited was really inexperienced. he doesn't know what he was talking about. and he didn't say what was wrong with me. i had to ask him. he talked as if he wasn't sure what medicine to give me. -.- And i was told to go back to him for a checkup a few days later. Made me spend another A$50 on consultation. hmph! anyways, i took the medicine and my stomach felt very queezy every time i took it. i was literally drained of energy. i never thought penicillin could do that to you. Or is it just me? lol.. i was so damn glad i didn't need to take the whole course of penicillin - under my mum's instructions =p! there are 50 tablets ok?! Back in s'pore, i only had to take 24 tablets at the most. and the anti-bacterial wash i use to gargle my mouth every 4 hrs had killed my taste buds. i couldn't taste salt. so basically, food didn't taste really appealing to me, especially when it's porridge all the time.

i had to go down personally to a medicare centre to claim back some money. altogether i claimed back A$65.60 from the A$100 i paid. you know what? i find this system very stupid. why can't the government make things easier by paying the clinics instead so that the clinics will charge us lower. then we don't need to claim liao ma? have to purposely go down to claim. sianz.. i know why.. cos' the government wants us to spend on transport getting there and back and on food/stuff after we get our money. cool right?! wahaha.. stupid theory..

oh yea! erm.. this spring is weird. it's unusually cold at the start of spring and super hot now when it's supposed to be damn hot in summer. do you know what's the highest temperature reached? A freaking 39.8 degrees! that's way off s'pore's temperature. i'm thankful my folks switch on the aircon occassionally in a day.

and as chel min enthusiastically wrote, 8 MORE DAYS till i'm back baby =) hehe.. my sister's going back tmr. and i'll be stuck here alone. =( well, i'm comforted to know that the whole queen size bed is MINE! muahaha.. can you imagine her legs all sprawled over you when you sleep? Ergh! lol..

i have no idea what to do after my last paper on monday. i have until saturday! mm.. i know i'm going out one of the days to buy stuff home. but what about the rest? simple answer - rot at home with my computer. haha.. BORING..
