Day 63

we finally fixed up everything. it was hard work. our fingers ached from all the nail screwing. and we dun even have the proper tools to work with. we're using our bare hands. where's papa when we need him? =(

the house is not big. there's only 3 rooms, a living room, kitchen, dining and family room. but it's cosy enough for us. sad to say, we're still sleeping in the same room - the master, where our two queen size beds are placed nxt to each other. according to mama, we're saving electricity if we all slp in the same room with one heater on. sleep was very peaceful and undisturbed. no more cousin screaming in the morning or crying and fussing about~~ gosh.. i hate it when they always do that. i guess we're all too tired these few days from all the unpacking and cleaning up. back aching and all.. oh wells. everything is done now. everything's up. gas, electricity, phone line. it's just the internet missing. i hope it goes up this coming monday, which i doubt it will. australia is known for its SLOW service. they tell u they'll get the internet up and working in 1 wk but they come 2 wks later. it's true!!! i get tt comment from all my friends and relatives.

i went to an asia fresher event 2 days ago. it was meant for first yr students and was held at a bar. unfortunately, it is a non-alcoholic event cos' there are 17 yr olds ard. like my sis who still has 1 more day to her bdae. damn it! haha.. how to club when u're not intoxicated? it feels so weird dancing. well, my sis can do it. but it's just nt my personality to dance u noe.. haha. but it's an eye-opener. it was basically dancing on the dance floor the whole 3 hrs and games. the 3 guys were very nice. one of them is my friend, david's brother (24 yrs old), the other david's friend (17 yrs old i tink) and the last david's friend's brother (23 yrs old). they always made sure one of them stuck ard with us in the bar. and even after the event, we went to have a bite at a nearby pizza store and they fetched us home.

celebrated amanda's bdae yest with a nice expensive meal, cake and TV! yes.. we got our own tv.. finally. we managed to get it working in time for the anticipated "Ghost Whisperer" serial.. my mum has to make 3 trips to the shop. The first being fetching us home cos' the tv cldnt fit into the car with all of us in it. the 2nd being getting the tv home. we were so hoping the tv wld work after we connected the wire but the program said we were missing an aerial cable. shucks man~ why didnt the sales guy ask us to get it too? now we have to make another trip to the shop cos' the nxt day is a public holiday. but all in all, it was a fruitful day. amanda enjoyed herself and the tv was a BIG reward. this is all that matters.. =D

my mood hasnt been gd these few days. i always seem to be angry, angry with my mum and amanda. managing a long distance r/s is difficult too. my friends, a piece of advice from me: try to stay away from such r/s as much as u can, cos' i tell u, it sucks. badly. im upset and he doesnt noe it.. to make things worse, he has to operate in the night when im sleeping and he sleeps during the day while im awake. it's all that stupid s'pore terrorist's fault! i feel like our conversations are running dry. the feelings slowly slipping away. and i still have 7 mths left. only 2 mths has passed. the replies i get from u are a far cry from what i expected. they tend to be "cold", unfeeling. i daydream alot to remind me of u, to make me feel comforted that u're "close" around but u reply me with something else about daydreaming which i do not wish to hear. when i dun msg u, u ask why im so quiet. have i ever complained when u dun msg me? i sit ard checking my phone occasionally to see if there's any msg. my thinking being u're so busy. i understand but if this is gonna keep up, i doubt i can take it. it's been a long time since i last spoke to u on the phone. 3 wks going to a 4th. and im nt sure if i want to.

i'll post the pics of the house and fresher event as soon as i can.. just hang on! ;) and for those of u who still has exams, kambatte! and for the guys who are struggling with army, jiayou =) that's all from me. till nxt time. cya!
