On saturday, i went to work in the late morning till afternoon, then went to church and later, went out to celebrate my first tuition free wk of this semester. it was a time to relax, to enjoy, to relieve stress. i had a smashing time! initially, amanda was supposed to join us but she decided against it when she came home late from her rowing competition and was exhausted. the night started when mama and sharon helped me to put on makeup. i noe.. my youngest sis helping me to make-up. such an embarrassment! haha.. at abt 9.30pm, stella came to pick me up. we then drove to caren's place and finally to Utopia (aka kbox).. Chang Xu (aka SHIT) was already in the karaoke room when we entered. it seems he has been there since 9 plus and we oni reached around 10.30pm. the song selection is rather good! the english song selection here is way better than kbox back in spore haha.. at least they have rihanna songs and some other new ones too. but the rest are still old. u can tell from the mtvs. of course, there are chinese songs and korean ones too!

we finished singing at 12am. wanted to go to metros. metros is a club. a place where pple drink and dance to nice music. i heard it's the biggest club in perth. most asians go there too. so u see almost the whole club filled with black hairs haha! the night is so chilly. we had to walk from where we parked our car to utopia and then from utopia to metros. i was shivering man.. teeth chattering like mad. but once we were inside metros, it wasnt so bad.

Before we were allowed entry into metros, we had an ID spot check. to check if we were of legal age to be partying. once it was done, we had a chop on our hand. after which, we had to pay $15 to enter. wad a reap-off right?! i also had to pay $4 to put my stuff away. i only carried some cash in my jeans and my handphone.

the whole time i was dancing away to the awesome music.. and had 2 drinks. the first was yagabomb (red bull with some alcohol). there was a way to drink it. u had to drop the shot of alcohol into the glass of red bull and drink it down quickly. the 2nd was tequila.. the drinks are so expensive ah.. just one shot of tequila for $9 and the yagabomb cost $12. yikes! i wasnt drunk, thank goodness! heex.. the dancing was ok.. but it got really squeezy at about 2am. cos there were SOOO many pple. hardly enuff room to dance, always bumping into others. there was also one guy who suddenly pulled me into his circle of friends and they surrounded me, pulling a jacket over my head. i was so shocked i ran away la!! Despite his failed first attempt, he pulled my other 2 friends in one by one. after which, he pulled all 3 of us in!! and we were dancing inside their circle -.- so weird. i cant help feeling uncomfortable when i notice some guys nearby who look like they are interested in my friends, that's why they are dancing so close to them. so creepy sometimes. but overall, it was a good first clubbing experience for me. i felt bad when i told stella that i wanted to go home at 2.30am cos' i had work tmr and didnt want to drop dead during my shift or worse still, make the burgers wrongly. normally they end at 3 or 3.30am. so sry guys.. i hope nxt time we go clubbin again i wldnt hav to work the nxt day then we wldnt need to go home early =D

that's my saturday. i had an enjoyable time while working yesterday, a monday. we were kidding around with nicknames. one of my co-workers, rohan, had a few. ronnie, han han, rosie, chris (jackie chan's partner in rush hour). he gave himself 2 more nicknames. KFC and KK. u noe wad they are?! King of Front Counter and King of Kitchen. SO HILARIOUS LA! we were laughing like mad.. cant believe he came up with tt!!! I love monday shifts. they're the slackest day of the wk. at abt 2.30pm, there was nth much to do so rohan got a 5 inch bun and digged a hole into it. later, he dropped it into oil to cook it. and tada~! we got a DONUT! how cool is tt? after he took it out, he sprinkled it with sugar and divided it into pieces for all of us to try. it was not oni delicious but crispy! YUM! later we tried chocolate donut. poured chocolate syrup on top of the donut. wao! that was irresistable too! we even tried fried pancake. HAHA! it was so funny it didnt feel like i was working at all. haiz.. but rohan is leaving for india in 1.5 wk's time. he's gonna be there for a yr.. to find an IT job there. he didnt have any luck here despite searching for so long. but it's gd la.. i mean, who wants to work in hungry jack's for the rest of their life? hope he can find a job there. but we'd all miss him. he nv fails to make everyone laugh. it's gonna be quiet in the kitchen without him around =( i hope in the remaining time, we will make it memorable for him..
