Day 165
First things first, HAPPY BIRTHDAY EUNICE! =)
i got my first pay! yippe! earned $163 but i was taxed $47!!!! wad the hell! why they tax so much?! all my hard earned money just literally goes out into their pockets! i better check with my boss cos' according to my friends, i'm not supposed to be taxed that heavily cos' im a permanent resident. sheesh.. wan to take my money. no way man! plus i'm getting my 2nd pay check very very soon. i tink they already deduct the tax from my 2nd pay -.- haiz.. too late.
In one week, i received so many letters from accounting companies who are offering PAID vacational employment during summer because i'm a 2nd year student now. haiyo.. but i GOING HOME! so wasted.. i bet if i'm being paid to do that kind of work, my pay will definitely be much higher than my current job. but i dun have the chance! accounting jobs are aplenty here but most of them require experienced pple or worse still, the companies are mostly in industrial areas or remote parts of perth. u NEED a car to travel to work. so that's the main reason why i cant get an accounting job. although i want to and i REALLY hope i can do so cos' it'll help in my future job employment. it's not like s'pore where almost every place on the island is accessible by train or bus. This is PERTH. the buses are so irregular and they don't go to all the places u want to go -.- this sucks.
david got me another soft toy again. he surprised me with a mickey magician stitch. haha! so huge la! it was supposed to be mine but i preferred the bear he gave to caren so i traded the stitch for her bear. hehe.. so cute and soft la! i'm a sucker for soft toys. LOL.. i wanted to add another stitch to my large collection of stitches but i was tempted to get the bear. HAA! my mum likes the bear. even more than the other bear that ying hui helped me buy cos' it's smelly and looks scary to her =( but i dun care. I LOVE IT.. and she cant do anything abt it =p HEH..
see? it has a pink striped scarf to keep it warm, especially in this winter!!
Ta-dang! just something random. i felt like putting it up =) such a pity i lost the other half. so sad ah. now no more complete heart. lucky i snapped a photo of it before i lost it. i'm so careless =(
