Day 12

last sat, we invited choon kiat over to our place for lunch. i had a feeling he misses home-cooked food alot.. so we picked him up at murdoch and then headed back home where we played xbox games wif my sisters while waiting for mama to dish out lunch. the lunch was sumptuous. mum cooked chilli squid, 2 plates of promfrets, kai lan with luncheon meat and pork leg fuzhou fishball soup.. if u heard wad kind of food he's been havin for the past 2 wks, u'd feel sad for him..

the nxt day, my 21st bdae!!! my uncle's family came over for lunch. after we cleared our dishes, mum brought out the cake we bought nearby. the cake is called Grand Marnier Torte. Grand Marnier is a type of liquor. but it isnt realli strong. i guess they just used a little on the cake. it tasted good, but mum and sisters didnt like the thick layer of cream (1cm-2cm thick). i LOVED it.. HAHA! anyway, the cake didnt come with candles. so we had to buy them from another store. polka-dotted candles! that's all we could find. hehe.. and they stuffed 21 candles. took me 4 mouths to blow out everything. =D

aunt gave me a special ferrero rocher box (flavours: pistachio, almond, hazelnut, forest fruits, coconut) as well as a $100 gift card to be used in certain stores. popo gave me an ang pao. mama~~~ still owes me! haha..
