i happened to have a craving for cookies the nxt day after i had the double choc chip cookies that night at paesan's place. So.. i gt sharon to buy me some ingredients for making cookies. and i got down to baking it. flipped thru the cookbook and decided to make lemon cream biscuits. i was sooo interested in making sth delicious that i forgot i had not baked in a very long time and i was taking an unusually long time to prepare everything. haa! i took a total of 2.5 hrs to make the cookies -.-"

first, i had to make the cookie dough. after putting the cookies into the oven, i got down to preparing the lemon cream. little did i realise that my cookies were BURNT! the cookbook said 10-12 mins but it was only 8 mins when it was burnt -.-" shld have watched the oven.. grrr. Panicking, i quickly opened the oven and my eyes stung at the heat. in my mind, i was thinking, "oh shit! the smoke alarm will definitely go off.." and it did. so stupid ah! yesterday it went off becos amanda made a newspaper catch fire. the nxt day i had to make it go off again becos of my baking disaster. wad can i sae? aiyoyo.. mama where are u?! ur 2 daughters are hopeless in the kitchen HAHA..

my 2 trays of cookies were totally chao tah.. so i had to throw it all away. only had abt half a cookie dough left. so sad =( if i was careful, i wld b able to make more. wanted to give some to paesan's family for being so nice - always inviting us over for dinner. but there wasnt enuff. so pathetic. luckily the 2nd batch was good. learnt my lesson.

they look yummy hor? taste yummy too!! =) i tink these are the best cookies i've baked so far. and my sisters agree too. very addictive.. but too bad there wasnt enuff to go around. they also said my cookies had better shape than mama's haha! mmm maybe i bake again for mama to try when she comes back =D

yeh! dear is returning from hong kong soon. haven communicated with him ever since he left. miss him.. mmmm...
