First things first, HAPPY BIRTHDAY YING HUI!!! oh gosh, cant believe we're all 21 le.. feeling "old" alr? hehe.. how did ur day go? hope it was smashing!!

ok, about a week ago, papa said he may be coming down to see us and stay for abt 2 wks. we were so happy then but were cautious to not be too hopeful. becos he cancelled his trip 3 times throughout the 2.5 yrs that we've been here. and he nv did come over because of work =( it's always work, all his client's fault~! one min sae "yar yar, u can go for holiday. the goods haven come yet so u can go relax." nxt min when papa wants to come over alr, then he saes "sry u cant go. the shipment has arrived." so irritating lea! anyway, yea he cancelled his trip once more - 4th time. mama was very upset. he crushed her heart so many times. that night, i dreamt that he flew over in a flash when he decided that he'll b coming down. BUT it had to be JUST a dream.. aiz.......

i've gt GREAT NEWS! my parents have FINALLY bought a piece of land! after 2 years of searching for a place to call our home!! fengshui fengshui fengshui. all becos of it, it's so difficult to find a place cos this cannot, that cannot. garage have to be on the left hand side, kitchen sink cannot be opposite stove, house cannot be near schools, house must be in a particular direction bla bla bla.. there are so many more "rules" but i can't possibly list them all out. cos there are way too many! if u knew how many there were, u wld understand why it took us sooooo freaking long to find a suitable house. this land that my parents just bought appears to be of the same direction as my spore warren house (which means its very very gd) - this is the first time my mum took the direction and its perfect. anyway, she just signed the land ownership papers today so the land is officially ours now. and to take advantage of the first house ownership govt grant ($14,000), we have to sign a contract with a builder company by the 3rd wk of sept in order to receive the grant. that's why we're really rushing to get a house. and that MEANS PAPA IS COMING DOWN!!! his flight is scheduled on saturday 12am.. oh yeh! although it's oni for 1 wk, but it's better than none at all =D

so damn happy these 2 days. yesterday received a letter of commendation from the sch for last semester's results. ahhhhh!!!! =) =) =) i'm over the moon now. someone pls pull me back to earth haha.. i gtta finish up my assignment. went to see the tutor and it looks like i'm on the wrong track. my report is 80-90% wrong cos i looked at it from a different perspective and identified some pts. wrongly. haiz.. i took so long to write it somemore. gotta redo it.. lucky i went to see her if not i wld just fail for this paper. aiyaaaa, charmaine jiayou!
