this was taken in perth with my closest hungry jacks' friends.. we dined at a thai restaurant as a farewell dinner for my dearest indian friend who has decided to quit the manager position in the store and study more online as well as to get a better job. we wish him all the best and let's meet up again when i'm back!
the loveliest thai food ever! all the dishes we had were fantastic! so yummy man! we finished everything lea...
haha tim (my thai friend) and the aladdin jar filled with rice!
nxt up is the crystal jade la mian xiao long bao dinner at bugis.. i ALWAYS LOVE the noodles there!!! zha jiang mian!!
aisuan still the same as always.. peeking into other pple's shirts.. hahaha!
after tt we proceeded to the dessert shop near bugis street.. i had mango with pomelo and sago topped with vanilla ice cream. sweet!
as i mentioned, LTC had a xmas celebration on the 23rd dec. a whole day off for us to play and enjoy! we started out with amazing race all over CBD area. starting point was raffles place OUB building. raced all the way through clarke quay to suntec and ending point was ritz carlton hotel. and we had to dress in our costumes while completing the race! (chinese, egyptian, spanish, hawaiian, malay, japanese, scottish) i was in the chinese group and had to wear cheong sam which i bought from chinatown last min. cost me $40 and i ended up spoiling it cos we had to carry all our bags with us while racing -.-" how ridiculous is that? damn heavy la.. my bag was with me all the time and i guess it kept on rubbing against the delicately sewn cheongsam. so there u go, one masterpiece spoilt =( my mum said heng i didnt rent the costume, otherwise $100 will fly away with the wind. ($50 for rental and $50 for deposit - if i spoilt it, they'll claim the $50 deposit)
touch up under an underpass. my 'jiangshi' senior's costume (his costume was supposed to be from the olden palace era but everyone tinks it makes him look like zombie lol POOR THING) was slowly coming off one by one cos we actually stapled his costume tgt. so my senior in red chinese traditional costume went to staple for him again.
we were all so damn tired. sweaty everywhere. to make things worse, the cheongsam stuck to our skin. horrible feeling. my whole face was literally melting away.. and there were tourists everywhere.. everyone stared at us. we walked alongside the road, the passengers in the car also turned to look at us. damn paiseh.. some indian tourists even begged us to take photo with them -.- ahhhh!!! we didnt hav time to finish all our tasks. were were given photo clues and had to go to that place to snap a pic as proof. there was also dancing in front of the OUB centre and caroling at the singapore flyer. even had to carry our handmade decorated flag with us.
finally we reached our destination. as soon as we walked into the hotel, the air con was damn relieving! whew.. nv perspired so much in my life. and all of us were like a pack of hungry wolves. luckily we had buffet.
group photo =)
jackson, my senior with the cute little bear.. lol.
as soon as we finished our buffet, the emcee engaged us in some games and then it was time for our dance performances. this was the malay dance.
