Had my graduation ceremony on tue.. it was such a rush that day. didnt hav electricity from 10am to 3pm cos of a stupid equipment upgrade outside. so cldnt charge the camera battery. mum had to purposely make a trip down to my popo's place to recharge the batt. also had to wait for sharon to finish sch then pick her up to go to my uni. when we reached, i had to hurry down to get my regalia cos the pickup time was going to end. after tt, took photos wif my family. and then becos i wanted to wait for my friends to come to take pics wif them, my family abandoned me to hav dinner outside first b4 heading down to the ceremony at 7pm.

Only my parents and grandma attended my ceremony. cos i only get 2 complimentary tickets. an extra ticket costs $35. heard from papa tt i'm the first grandchild's graduation tt my grandma attended. so my grandma didnt attend my other cousins' graduation ceremonies then? mmm.. anw, i felt really happy tt she was able to see me go on stage to receive my certificate =) i'm glad she came to perth wif dad =D i miss the whole family gathering tgt. its been a while..

when we went into the curtin stadium, graduates were asked to sit in front in their allocated seats and the guests behind the graduates. i had the opportunity to sit in the very FIRST ROW!! haha.. my seat no. was A23. how cool is that?! i can see everyone going up on stage. i was lucky to also have my friends sit close to me. one of them sat nxt to me. another 2 sat behind. hehe.. the ceremony opened wif the chancellor, vice-chancellor and other lecturers going up on stage, followed by the australia national song. soon enuff, the masters students went up to receive their cert. and then, it was the bachelors' turn. when it was my turn, they announced, "Graduating with a distinction and a member of the vice-chancellor's list, Charmaine Yiru Tan" =) hell cool!

the ceremony ended with a rock guy playing a a bagpipe with 3 holes for the fire to come out. he had mahawk hair, wearing sorta like a black scottish leather skirt with feathers on it. a little bit gothic. but the view was breathtaking. he was playing music from the bagpipe and pressing fire out the horns. he started wif amazing grace - my dad's favourite song. haha.. there was also jurassic park song and flintstones! so cute! =D

after everything's over, i met up wif my family again and my dad hugged me, saying he's so proud of me.. love ya dad. we had light refreshments. i asked for champagne while mum gt 2 coffees and 1 tea. dad cldnt slp till 4am that night cos of the coffee. lol..

i had a great time that day.. =)

went to work today and dropped a box of glass bottles which i collected from the storeroom outside the store. i was so flustered when it dropped that i just used my bare hands to pick up the rest of the unbroken bottles. got 10 cuts on my hands altogether. had to pull out some glass shreds from my hands.. since i was alone, i cldnt leave the load and had to carry it back. the cuts kept on bleeding i tot it wldnt stop. one thing i noe for sure tt wld stop the bleeding was to lick my wounds. HAHA.. wad to do? i'm always so clumsy. true enuff, the bleeding stopped after a while. i dropped a plate and bowl just 2 days ago.. and cut my hand wif a knife while slicing a bread into half 1 wk ago. hais.. i'm nt cut out for manual labour seriously. but this is all i hav temporarily while i'm still searching for an accounting job =(

i tot i cld fill my time up wif work tt day but it was cancelled and switched to an earlier day that wk. DAMN.. now there's nth to distract me tt day. i'm going to start emo-ing.. nt lookin forward to it at all.

is it alright if i still harbour thoughts and memories from the past? sometimes, i cant help but think abt it b4 i go to slp. its alr been close to 3 mths but the thoughts cant fully go away. why must it haunt me b4 i slp? *clench my fist*
